Real Prices, Published
No fake tiers. No 'contact for pricing.' Here is what each engagement costs, what shapes the number, and how the entry points build into an ongoing relationship if that is what makes sense.
The Entry Points
One free, two priced. Everything to the left of $2,800/mo. The rest of the page is what happens if any of these lead into a longer engagement.

SEO Audit & Written Strategy
The plan you get before you commit to a retainer
A written document you keep — the searches you should target in what order, who currently holds them, what to defer, an expected window for movement, and the measurement setup so the baseline exists before the work rather than after. Yours whether or not you engage us afterwards.

Google Business Profile Setup
The single largest local visibility lever, done properly, once
Verification, primary and secondary categories, service-area configuration, hours, initial post batch, photo work, and a review-generation loop opened with your existing customer base. For some businesses this is all the visibility work they need.

Priced by Scope
The engagements below vary too much between clients to publish a single figure honestly. What they always have is a written estimate before the work starts and no charge for the scoping conversation.
Web Design & Build
Scope moves with page count, custom integrations, e-commerce vs. brochure, and whether copy is written for you or supplied. Written quote before starting.
AI Visibility (LLM search)
Making sure ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Gemini cite your business correctly when asked about your category. Scope depends on current baseline and what needs restructuring.
Content Marketing (standalone)
Bundled inside the SEO retainer by default. Standalone content programmes are quoted per volume, topic complexity, and whether interviews or research are part of the process.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why don't you have Starter / Growth / Enterprise tiers?
Because the tier pattern usually serves the seller, not the buyer. A three-tier package with a feature checklist gets a business owner to look at the middle tier and think 'well, I should probably get the middle tier,' which is exactly what the design is for. It also hides that most of the checklist items are things the buyer does not actually need and would not buy if named separately. We publish per-engagement pricing instead — a real number for each thing we do — and the buyer picks the ones that match their situation.
Is there a contract or annual lock-in?
No. Every ongoing engagement is month-to-month, cancellable with 30 days' notice. Twelve-month SEO contracts are common in this market and they exist because the first six months of most SEO engagements do not produce enough to justify a voluntary renewal. Removing the contract forces the honest conversation earlier — worse for the seller, better for the buyer.
What if my budget is under $2,800/month?
The right entry is one of the fixed-fee engagements rather than a cut-down retainer. The $500 written strategy plus the $950 Google Business Profile setup covers the highest-leverage items for most Nanaimo businesses at a total of $1,450, one-off. If you want ongoing work after that, come back when the budget supports the $2,800 tier. What is not worth doing is a $600–$1,000/month retainer with any agency; there is not enough work in a monthly cycle at that number to move the ranking on anything competitive, and cheaper retainers in this market are almost always a template report generator or an offshore content mill.
Do you handle multiple locations or a service-area corridor?
Yes, and the pricing moves up rather than the deliverables staying the same and the fee staying flat. A two-location practice cannot be served properly at the same monthly figure as a single-location one. The SEO range on the site is $2,800–$4,000/month; the top of the range is for multi-location engagements or businesses covering a distinct service-area corridor (Ladysmith to Qualicum, for example). The strategy document is where scope gets named before the retainer is signed, so there is no scope-creep argument later.
Why is pricing higher on the Calgary page than the $2,800 baseline here?
Because the Calgary market genuinely runs at a different price point for high-competition verticals. A dental practice or law firm competing in Calgary is up against a category density Nanaimo does not have, and moving a page onto page one for a Calgary dental query requires more content, more link earning and more ongoing work than the equivalent Nanaimo query. Our Calgary SEO pricing publishes a range of $4,000–$6,000/month for professional services and up to $7,500 for the hardest verticals; Vancouver and Toronto engagements sit in a similar range. The $2,800 baseline on this page is the honest starting figure for a lower-competition local market and the correct entry point for most Nanaimo and Vancouver Island businesses; Tier-1 metro pricing is a different conversation and each city page publishes what applies there. Nothing is hidden — the ranges are all on the site, they just differ by the market they describe.
Are prices in Canadian or US dollars?
Canadian dollars. Every figure on this page is CAD. The site serves clients in Canada, France, Tunisia, Georgia and elsewhere, but pricing quoted publicly is in CAD; a proposal for a non-Canadian client will convert to the appropriate currency at the time of engagement.
What if I already have an SEO person or agency?
The honest answer depends on what they are producing. If enquiries are moving and the reporting is legible, staying put is often the right call and we will say so during the free audit. If the monthly report is a keyword-position spreadsheet with no line for enquiries by source, or the plan has not changed in a year, that is a real signal. Some clients buy the $500 strategy from us and hand it to the person they already have — the plan is yours whether or not the ongoing work is, and that is a fine outcome.
What is not included in these prices?
Third-party ad spend (Google Ads, Meta Ads) is not included in any figure on this page — those are pass-through costs paid to the platform, not to us, and we do not mark them up. Google Business Profile is free from Google; we bill for the setup work. Domain names, hosting, and email platforms are the client's own recurring costs. If any engagement would require a paid third-party tool that the client does not already own, we name it in the proposal before signing rather than adding it later.
