Squamish sits on the Sea-to-Sky Highway almost exactly halfway between Vancouver and Whistler — a town of roughly 25,000 on the traditional territory of the Squamish Nation (Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw), whose name and presence still anchor the community. Most of that growth has outpaced the town's digital presence.
